Justin Chait Takes Gold At The First Ever Flite Cup

We were stoked to see we got an invite from Fliteboard to participate in the first ever Fliteboard Cup. A time trial-style race, posing riders head-to-head on a
track designed to equally test both regular and goofy riders.

"I know we are at Gnarly Harley", were Justin's thoughts as he got the invite to race. Justin Chait is an eFoiler instructor and owner of the eFoil adventure company Gnarly Harley Adventures. Justin's been patiently waiting for an opportunity to see how far his riding can take him. Justin pride's himself on Gnarly Harley's slogan and signature style of riding: "ride safe, ride smooth, and ride fast". 

Leading up to the race, Justin said he didn't really feel nervous or anything. According to Justin, he didn't exactly train for it; it was in the back of his mind, but he rides fast every day. Justin admitted, "I haven't really seen anything crazy online, and so I didn't know what the competition would be like."

Is Justin the favorite to win this?
Prior to the event starting, there was a dealer meeting where all the Flite dealers in the states got together in preparation for the event.

Surprising to Justin, it seemed like nobody was shy about letting Justin know they had their money on him to win the race.

"I didn't think people actually thought that, but I knew there were some people flying in who could be some competition. Even Nick Baumgartner, a gold medal snowboarder was racing for example."

And now the pressure is on...

Justin pulled win after win throughout the entire Flite Cup. By what some spectators described by a mile. Justin's motto "Don't Fall" really paid off. Earning him a win in each of his eFoil Races and crowing him as this years Flite Cup winner.

Justin's big unexpected highlight of the tournament was being able to take home the new Ultra L the second one to ever made. In fact, about 9 months before their launch. Justin's been having a blast flying around on his new Ultra L. 

Justin's been honing in his riding over the last few months and is excited to help more riders ride fast. Gnarly Harley is in the process of working on a several courses Ride Safe, Ride Smooth, & Ride Fast courses to help other eFoilers level up there riding. Justin & Antonella are also located in Naples, Florida and give eFoil lessons amongst other fun water related adventures all over Southern Florida.
